Fourth Post: Change of mind!

After searching and searching for inspiration and not finding anything to write about, I have decided to change the aim I was going for in the beginning. Instead of heading more towards a serious scientific magazine such as “Science”, I want to focus on magazines with more vividness such as “National Geographic”.

My original idea was to have dull colors such as black and white for the cover, and create a serious tone, for more mature audiences. Now I am going to use bright colors and focus on the natural aspects, which in the beginning was the complete opposite of what I wanted to do.

My change of heart was because I realized my original idea would collide with other published stories from magazines, and the images would have to look the same. This project is about starting from 0 and being the most creative you can be. Since I need to start from 0, I want to create an article about a woman, named Ciara, who is traveling the world by herself, inspires others to take risks, and helps those that want to do the same as her but aren’t sure on how to. I private messaged Ciara through Instagram to see if she wants to help me, and see if i am able to interview her. She’s an inspiration to me since I love traveling and have a dream of being able to do it by myself one day.

If I'm not able to get in contact with Ciara, then I'll need to find a new subject to work on. It will most likely be on a nature theme. Keep reading for more updates!
